(1) The selection regulations for the orientation of lighting distribution boxes are as follows:

1) The vertical distance between the bottom of the lighting distribution box and the ground should be greater than 1.3m and less than 1.5m. The vertical distance between the bottom of the mobile distribution box and the ground of the switch box should be greater than 0.6m and less than 1.5m, and the mobile distribution box should be installed on a fixed metal bracket.

2) There should be a space and passage around the lighting distribution box and switch box for two people to work together. There should be no debris or shrubs or weeds obstructing the operation in front of the box.

3) The switch box should be located around the controlled electrical equipment in a convenient place for operation. The horizontal distance between it and the fixed electrical equipment it controls should not be too close to avoid adverse effects caused by the vibration of the electrical equipment on the switch box. It should also not be too far to facilitate timely handling in case of faults. Generally, it is advisable to operate within 3 meters.

4) The overall lighting distribution box should be located near the power source; The distribution box for lighting should be located in areas with relatively concentrated electrical loads or equipment, and the distance between the distribution box for lighting and the switch boxes of each electrical equipment should exceed 30 meters.

(2) The requirements for the lighting distribution box environment are as follows:

1) The electrical box should avoid external impact, falling objects, and intense vibration, and a simple protective shed can be erected above it;

2) It is not allowed to be installed in places with liquid splashes, immersion, or heated baking.

3) It shall not be installed in a harsh environment with harmful substances such as gas, steam, smoke, liquid, heat source, and other harmful substances that may cause damage to the electrical box;

4) Lighting distribution boxes and switch boxes should be installed in dry, ventilated, and room temperature areas, and should be protected from rain and dust as much as possible;
